Park Avenue Accommodation  Group

(hereinafter known as Park Avenue)

Terms and Conditions.  

Cancellation Policy – All Properties except Apartments @ Docklands.

  • 48 hours notice is required prior to arrival for cancellations and refunds of deposits.
  • Full accommodation charges are payable if you fail to check-in (no show) and have not advised us of any cancellation or changes.
  • During peak periods or special events a 7 day notice of cancellation applies or full payment will be charged.
  • Bookings over Special Event Periods may require that a non-refundable deposit be paid, in part or in full.  This cancellation policy will be confirmed at the time of booking.

Cancellaton Policy – Apartments @ Docklands

  • Cancellations greater than forty eight (48) hours notice will result in an administrative fee of $45.00 unless the booking is during a peak period and point 2 will apply

  • Cancellations during peak periods result in a loss of deposit, this is up to 3 months of the booking

  • Cancellations less than forty eight (48) hours will result in a loss of deposit

  • Any amendments to a reservation will result in a $45.00 fee, unless point 5 will apply

  • Postponements can be arranged but are at the discretion of Apartments @ Docklands

  • All Apartments @ Docklands bookings carry a minimum of a 2 night stay unless specified at the time of booking or during a peak time when a minimum number of nights stand, this is specified at the time of your booking

  • A deposit will be charged as security over the booking on confirmation unless the full amount has been paid to an Apartments @ Docklands supplier or a pre-arrange alternative has been made

Changes to your booking details/dates.

  • A minimum notice of vacating is required depending upon the length of stay, eg. If staying 1-6 nights then 48 hours notice required, 7 to 27+ nights require 7 days notice.
  •  Any booking changes must be made 48 hours in advance to obtain a refund of deposits otherwise one night’s accommodation is payable.
  • Changes are subject to the availability of property and the tariff may change.

Confirmation & Payment Policy

  • Submitting a booking form constitutes the you are authorising Park Avenue to immediately deduct one nights deposit (if required) and deduct payment for Accommodation Charges, Telephone Charges (if they have not been paid via Cash, Cheque, Transfer or another Credit Card as and when due) and any damage caused during your stay.
  • Bookings are not confirmed until you have received a confirmation email or fax from our reservations team
  • We require a validated credit card authorisation and one night’s deposit to guarantee your booking.
  • Corporate account customers paying by invoice may be charged late payment fees if their account falls into arrears.
  • International direct transfers incur bank charges and these are the responsibility of the payee.  Please allow for these charges with the amount of the transfer.

Credit Card Charges

  • A surcharge of 3.35% applies to all charges paid via Amex or Diners Card.

Telephone Charges

  • Telephone Accounts are processed monthly, this may be up to 4 weeks after your departure.
  • Local calls cost up to 70 cents per call. Telephone bills will be sent out approximately 4 weeks after completion of your stay, therefore please ensure you advise our office of your forwarding address. If you require further details on telephone call charges, including our current STD and International rates, please contact our office on 9807 5777 during business hours

Check In/Check Out Time:

  • Check in is available from 2pm. Early check in is strictly subject to availability  and must be requested at least 48 hours prior to arrival. If you wish to guarantee early check in we suggest that the apartment is booked for the night before.
  • Check Out: Check out is 10am. Late check out is strictly subject to availability and a late check out fee may apply.

Booking Conditions, Long Stay & Special Rates

  • A two night minimum length of stay applies to properties outside the CBD.
  • Weekly, Monthly and Extended Stay tariffs are only available under certain terms and conditions.
  • Nightly Tariff: applies to stays of 2 nights to 6 nights inclusive*

    Weekly Tariff: applies to stays of 7 nights to 27 nights inclusive*

    Monthly Tariff: applies to stays of 28 nights and over*

    *All Stays must be consecutive to receive the applicable tariff

  • If the minimum length stay to qualify for a discounted rate is not fulfilled then the rates will be increased to the appropriate nightly, weekly or monthly rate from the commencement of stay
  • If keys are lost or not returned, it is our policy to have all locks changed at your expense.  Similarly any remote controls will be replaced at your expense if lost or not returned

Special Requests and Requirements

  • Cot/crib linen is not supplied nor changed during housekeeping

  • Additional equipment (including baby items, foldout beds etc) is provided by Park Avenue as a guest convenience. It is the responsibility of the guest to ensure that the equipment is fit for its intended purpose and used in the appropriate manner.  By requesting Additional Equipment and submitting this form the guest acknowledges that Park Avenue accepts no liability for loss, damage, injury or other events associated with the provision and/or use of the equipment.

  • On confirmation of booking we will confirm any requirements requested. Please be advised that charges apply for any requirements that are booked, (eg fold out beds, cots, high chairs, baby baths, early check ins/ late check outs, etc).  These charges will still apply regardless of whether the item is used or not. Park Avenue staff are unable to void these charges once you have confirmed your need for the item.

Limit of Liability

  • Park Avenue does not accept liability for any damages caused by the use of irons or damage to kitchen benchtops.  Accepting these terms and conditions authorises Park Avenue to deduct the credit card supplied for any damages or unpaid charges.

Policies

  • Our properties are located in residential areas and Park Avenue strictly enforces a ‘no party’ or ‘excessive noise’ policy and guests will be immediately evicted without refund if found to be damaging property or causing disturbance to other guests.   

  • A strict 'no smoking' policy applies to all Park Avenue properties

  • The number of guests must not exceed the number of guests specified at the time of booking

  • No pets are allowed in any Park Avenue property
